EMPOWERING WOMEN’S VOICES THROUGH CHAMBER MUSIC

Muses Trio celebrates the profound and often overlooked contributions of women composers in chamber music. We are an Australian ensemble dedicated to performing only works by women, offering audiences an enriching experience of music through the unique lens of female artistry. Our contributions are a testament to the power and beauty of music created and performed by women, fostering a deep appreciation for gender diversity in music. Muses Trio is uniquely positioned to fill this niche as the first Australian female ensemble exclusively performing works by women from across the globe, appealing to audiences who value cultural diversity and gender equality.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our vision is to be a leading force in the global chamber music community, championing the works of women composers and inspiring future generations of musicians. We aim to create a world where the contributions of women in music are celebrated and recognized, fostering a diverse and inclusive cultural landscape. Through our performances, recordings, commissions, educational initiatives, and collaborations, we strive to elevate the presence of women’s voices in music, ensuring their legacies endure and thrive.
