Women & Wine

Muses curated a luscious, full-bodied program for Anywhere Fest 2021, first performed at Mrs J Rabbits Speakeasy, upstairs at Electric Ave. Women & Wine features bold world premieres by noted living Australian women composers including Elena Kats-Chernin, with a sweet sprinkling of Muses’ favourites unearthed from the cellar, along with inspiring (and some cheeky!) excerpts by women authors.  We share passages from Julia Baird’s Phosphorescence, Isabelle Alende’s The Soul of a Woman, and Women who Run with the Wolves, by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
